AscendEX
AscendEX is a cryptocurrency platform offering spot, margin, and futures trading, staking services, and crypto custody solutions.
The platform was launched in 2021 as an evolution of the BitMax exchange (operating since 2018). Users can access the platform through its web terminal or mobile applications available for Android and iOS.
The exchange supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies for trading, including ASD, DOT, XRP, SOL, BNB, and others, with three primary trading markets: BTC, ETH, and USDT. Margin traders can access leverage of up to 25x on select pairs, while futures traders have access to approximately 50 different contracts.
The platform employs a tiered fee structure with 10 commission levels based on monthly trading volume and asset type:
Spot Trading Fees:
Large-cap assets:
- Maker: 0.1% to -0.015% (rebate)
- Taker: 0.1% to 0.02%
Altcoins:
- Maker: 0.2% to -0.015% (rebate)
- Taker: 0.2% to 0.02%
Futures Trading Fees:
- Maker: 0.02% to -0.015% (rebate)
- Taker: 0.06% to 0.03%
The negative percentage values indicate that traders may actually receive rebates for providing liquidity to the market. This innovative fee structure makes AscendEX particularly attractive for high-volume traders and market makers.
